Portpatrick
A very picturesque fishing port village and the first port of call for yachts from Ireland. Sit in the sun at one of the quayside hotels enjoy a drink and watch the boats come and go or browse the many little shops. In summer a number of community arts events are staged culminating in the now renowned Lifeboat Week giving the town a real buzz.
Port Logan
This village in contrast to Portpatrick is much quieter and if you enjoy real ales in tranquillity with a beautiful sunset then there is no better spot to visit. Also within cycling distance for those feeling like they would like to earn their pint!
