Rental
Anna Thompson,15/09/2008: "Truly stunning! My family and I recently stayed in one of the rental caravans on this beautiful caravan park. From our friendly arrival at the reception to our departure everything about our stay at this park was what we had hoped for and more. Firstly the caravan was at a standard far beyond any other we have stayed in - very new caravan, TV, central heating, double –glazed and thoroughly cleaned. The site is also beautifully located with stunning views of the massive beach. Highly recommended."
Charles McNeil, 12/05/2009: "Sands of Luce Holiday Park was my first visit to the Galloway coast and surely won’t be my last! My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay at the park and enjoyed a rental caravan far beyond our expectations but this was nothing compared to the beach the park opened on to! Richard and Ronnie were very keen to ensure we would enjoy our stay and gave us invaluable information on what to do and where to visit. The bar was full of friendly folk who seemed keen to get to know us and were pretty persistent in wanting to teach us to fish! A great stay and we hope to see everyone on the park later this summer!"
Jan Arculus, 20/06/2009: We had a woderful few days at The Sands Of Luce Holiday Park. Stunning countryside, completely unspoilt, we have never encountered so many hares jogging along the rural lanes. I wish we had taken a book to help us identify all the wonderful birds we found, certainly a delight to see so much wildlife thriving in a very diverse environment. Sea, cliffs, long sandy beaches, river inlets, hills and wide open spaces. All midge free and welcoming. We enjoyed discovering the amazing ancient history of the area, part of a rural lanscape that encompasses some truly lovely gardens. Sadly we only had time for Logan Botanic but we look forward to returning to the Park again soon so we can continue with our discoveries.
Touring and Camping
Eleanor Hamilton, 03/07/2011: " I have just returned from my first ever camping trip that I spent at your site. I am so glad I picked your site, clean, friendly and quiet. Great location and will definitely return."
Edward Cooper, 16/07/2007: "I visit Sands of Luce Holiday Park every year as it is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland I have seen. The park sits right on a beautiful bay with a huge beach that is great for kids and walking the dog. The parks facilities are first class modern and cleaned regularly. The staff are friendly, informative and nothing seems to be too much trouble. I hope to be back next year for much of the same!"
James Bronk, 01/08/2006: "Sands of Luce is located in one of the last frontiers of Scotland. The area is beautiful and undiscovered yet surprisingly easy to get to just a short drive off the A75. The park is located close to the wonderful fishing villages of Sandhead, Port Logan, Drummore and Portpatrick as well as many beautiful public gardens. The park itself was brilliant! The staff were friendly, helpful and keen to ensure we would enjoy our stay. We were really surprised by the number of good eating houses within a few mile radius. We hope to be back soon."
